Florbella's

Florbella’s is a fusion of old meets new. The blending of two worlds. As the restaurant is situated within a museum, this design was meant to highlight the beauty of all things from the past with current day innovation.

Through materiality that has been used in design for decades such as rock and wood mixed with more contemporary materials like metal and glass, occupants will feel a sense of connection from past, present and future. The modular design will create a juxtaposition from the curved nature of the museum, again leaning into this idea of blending worlds.

The space will allow the occupant to choose how it is they use it, encompassing traditional dining layouts and integrating that with a more casual take on the dining experience. Through the use of layering materiality, using projection graphics, open cooking areas, and more, this space will give occupants an engaging multi-sensory experience.
